After checking into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. Wander through cobblestone streets, admire the Baroque architecture, and soak in the lively atmosphere of the Central Plaza, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and historic landmarks.

Overnight at Antigua Guatemala
Today, you’ll experience the rich history and vibrant culture of Antigua with a guided walking tour. Visit iconic sites such as the Santa Catalina Arch, the Cathedral of San José, and the city’s colorful artisan markets. Then, travel to a local coffee plantation, located along the lush volcanic slopes, to learn about Guatemala’s world-renowned coffee—from bean to cup.
If time allows, the day continues with visits to San Juan del Obispo, famous for its local crafts; a traditional Jade workshop in San Pedro Las Huertas; and the historic town of Ciudad Vieja, Guatemala’s second colonial capital.

After breakfast, set out on an unforgettable morning adventure to Pacaya Volcano, one of Guatemala’s most active and fascinating volcanoes. Upon arrival, enjoy a private boat tour to the indigenous village of San Juan La Laguna, known for its women’s weaving cooperatives, natural dye workshops, medicinal plant gardens, and vibrant murals. Today you will explore Yaxhá, one of Guatemala’s most impressive and less-visited Mayan archaeological sites, surrounded by jungle and lagoons. Discover ancient temples and plazas, learn about Mayan civilization, and enjoy panoramic views over the lakes, making this site famous for its unforgettable sunsets. Return to Flores for a relaxing evening.

Embark on a full-day guided tour of Tikal National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important Mayan cities ever built. Walk through the rainforest, climb towering temples for breathtaking views above the jungle canopy, spot wildlife, and dive into the fascinating history of the ancient Maya. In the afternoon, return to Flores for your flight back to Guatemala City.
