Arrive in Guatemala City and transfer to the charming colonial city of Antigua. Check in and enjoy an evening exploring the cobblestone streets, historical buildings, and the lively central plaza on your own.

Our guide will take you in a tour to discover Antigua’s main attractions, including the stunning Santa Catalina Arch, colorful markets, and historic churches. You will also visit a coffee plantation to learn about the coffee-making process. If time permits you will also go to San Juan El Obispo, a Jade workshop in San Pedro Las Huertas, and Ciudad Vieja.

Overnight at Antigua

We will embark on a morning hike to the Pacaya Volcano for views and volcanic landscapes. In the afternoon, return to Antigua for a leisure afternoon.

Your travel continues to Lake Atitlán and enjoying a scenic drive from Antigua to Lake Atitlán. Upon arrival you will have a boat tour, visiting indigenous lakeside village of San Juan La Laguna to learn about Mayan culture and crafts.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then the driver will take you to explore the famous Chichicastenango Market, one of the largest indigenous markets in Central America. Head back to Guatemala City in the afternoon.

Today you will take a flight to Flores and settle in this picturesque island town. Enjoy a sunset stroll through the cobbled streets, lined with colorful buildings.

With the guide, embark on a full-day tour of Tikal, an expansive Mayan archaeological site hidden in the jungle. Climb temples for panoramic views, spot wildlife, and learn about Mayan history.

Travel with our driver to Cobán, this is a long drive, therefore upon arrival you will have the rest of the day to relax in the hotel.

Overnight at Coban

Visit the Lanquín Caves, a sacred site for local Q'eqchi' Maya communities. Explore these dramatic caverns and experience the spectacle of bats flying out at sunset. Then head to Semuc Champey, a series of beautiful turquoise pools and natural limestone bridges surrounded by dense jungle. Spend the day swimming and exploring the pools. In the afternoon, transfer back to Cobán.

Overnight at Coban

The driver will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Quiriguá, famous for its intricately carved stelae and sculptures. Learn about the ancient Maya rulers and their accomplishments. After the visit, transfer to Copan, Honduras.

Breakfast at the hotel, then our driver will take you to Copan Archeological site to visit with a local guide. After the visit, transfer to Guatemala City.
